1. What this policy covers

This page describes the cookies and similar storage this website uses. It sits beside the privacy policy, which explains the personal data in forms, email, and discovery meetings.

We do not run advertising cookies. We do not allow other companies to follow you across the web from this site.

2. Your choice

When you arrive, a banner asks you to accept analytics or to keep the site essential only. Your choice is stored in this browser under the name sd-cookie-choice. It is local storage, not a tracking cookie. It stays until you clear site data for softwaredynamics.co.za.

Essential only is the default until you choose. Accept analytics records consent. It does not, by itself, switch on an advertising network.

3. Essential storage

A few items are required for the site to work. They do not need consent.

• The anti-forgery cookie set when you open a form, so a third party cannot submit that form as you. It lasts for the browsing session.
• A short-lived cookie the hosting platform may set so your browser stays with the same server while a page is loading.
• The banner choice described above, so we do not ask you on every page.

The language control in the header does not set a cookie.

4. Analytics

If you choose Accept analytics, that consent is what allows a measurement tool to run. We use measurement only to see which pages help a visitor, not to build an advertising profile.

We will name any measurement tool on this page before it is switched on. Until a tool is named here, choosing Accept analytics only stores your consent. It does not send your visit to an analytics vendor.

If you choose Essential only, we do not load a measurement tool.

5. What we do not use

We do not use cookies for ads, retargeting, or social plugins that track you when you are elsewhere. Video or a map, if a future page embeds one, will be covered here before it sets a third-party cookie.

6. How to change your mind

Clear cookies and site data for softwaredynamics.co.za in your browser. The banner appears again and you can choose Essential only or Accept analytics.

You can also use your browser's controls to block cookies. Blocking essential cookies may stop a form from submitting. Blocking local storage will make the banner return on each visit.

7. Changes
